Former Gov. George Pataki recorded two robocalls for GOP presidential candidate Mitt Romney and Senate hopeful Connie Mack IV through his political action committee Freedom PAC.

Pataki, who has headlined fundraisers for Mack, a Republican congressman running against U.S. Sen. Bill Nelson, says both candidates will “stand strong” against Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

The former governor, the last Republican to win a statewide election in New York, also says “our family’s security” is being threatened by Obama’s policies on health care and national security.

The English version of the script is below.

“Hi, this is George Pataki. For 12 years I had the privilege of leading New York as its Governor. Today, voters like you will choose our next President and our next Senator. Mitt Romney and Connie Mack will work to preserve and protect our nation and its values.

Our family’s security remains a top issue. But it’s being threatened by the Obama Administration and their reckless policies on healthcare and national security.

I know Mitt Romney and Connie Mack will stand strong against Hugo Chavez and Fidel Castro.

I’m supporting Mitt Romney for President and Connie Mack for the United States Senate. That’s why I’m calling to ask you to vote for them today.”
