Last Friday, attorneys for both the state Assembly and Senate wrote a joint letter in which they rebuffed the Governor Cuomo-appointed Moreland Commission.

The Commisson had asked legislators to disclose outside income and information about legal clients beyond what the law requires. But the two houses said they would not be releasing such information.

Harlem Assemblyman Keith Wright is the co-chair of the state Democratic Party. He also chairs the Manhattan Democratic Party.

Wright joined us to talk more about the legislature’s actions and their relationship with the Governor.
