Potential Republican gubernatorial candidate Astorino was not a fan of Gov. Andrew Cuomo’s State of the State address.

In a statement, the Westchester County executive knocked the hour-long address for lacking details on how any of his proposals will be pad for.

In fairness to Cuomo, the State of the State is usually meant to be the gubernatorial wish list that is later fleshed out in the budget presentation later in the month.

Astorino has said he will decide if he’s running for governor in the next two months.

“Governor Cuomo’s speech raised more questions than it offered answers,” Astorino said in the statement. “It was a laundry-list of proposals that lacked both funding and detail. Under Andrew Cuomo, New York has the highest taxes in the nation, the most debt and corruption, and the worst business climate. More people are leaving New York than any other state. I heard nothing of substance today that would reverse that course.”
