Democratic Congressional hopeful Martha Robertson has more than $265,000 in the last quarter of 2013 as she seeks to take on Republican Rep. Tom Reed this year.

In news released, the campaign took a dig at Reed.

“When you are running against one of only two members of the New York delegation who refused to re-open the government, who was also late paying his taxes 39 times, it’s easy to make the case that Tom Reed is part of the broken Washington politics that need to be replaced,” Robertson said in a statement.

The campaign said it would file a report showing it has raised more than $727,000 and has about $500,000 in cash-on-hand.

The Robertson campaign says 60 percent of its contributions came from within the state.
