From the morning memo:

Gov. Andrew Cuomo caused some waves among the political chattering class with the hiring of Susan Del Percio, a well-known Republican political operative who has worked on GOP gubernatorial campaigns and for the Senate Republicans.

Before she was set to work in the Cuomo administration, Del Percio’s present project was to helm a super PAC for the state Senate GOP.

But Del Percio isn’t the only Republican consultant to be hired on by Cuomo.

Cuomo began poaching Republicans a year ago with the hiring of Cristyne Nicholas, a founding partner of the political consultant firm NLO Strategies and former communications director to Rudy Giuliani, who is chairing the governor’s travel and tourism bureau.

Both Nicholas and Del Percio have been partners with Bill O’Reilly (the consultant, not Fox News host).

O’Reilly, of course, is the top adviser to Republican gubernatorial candidate Rob Astorino.

O’Reilly, along with Jessica Proud, broke off from NLO to form The November Team LLC this year, which is advising Astorino
