Susan Del Percio, the Republican consultant hired this month by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to be a special advisor to the administration met with the governor in January in his New York City office, newly released public schedules show.

The meeting, held at 3:15 on Jan. 10, also included Cuomo’s longtime aide, Joe Percoco.

Percoco, along with Chief of Staff Josh Vlasto, were due to leave the administration earlier this year to focus on the re-election campaign.

The meeting with Del Percio suggests the March hiring was long in the works, however.

Del Percio’s hiring came as she was gearing up to co-lead a super PAC on behalf of state Senate Republicans.

She has previously worked on gubernatorial campaigns for John Faso and Steve Levy.

Del Percio is also a former business partner of Bill O’Reilly, a top campaign advisor for 2014 candidate Rob Astorino.

The public schedules for January 2014 were released earlier this week and posted on Cuomo’s open government page Citizens Connect.
