The big gun has been called in.

Former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has recorded a robocall on behalf of Gov. Andrew Cuomo and his running mate, former Rep. Kathy Hochul.

The call, according to a script released by the state Democratic Committee, focuses heavily on Hochul, a former western New York congressional representative whose voting record has come under scrutiny from her primary opponent, Columbia professor Tim Wu.

Hochul’s name is said six times by Clinton in the phone call.

The call’s script includes an overview of Hochul’s resume in Congress and support for Medicare and women’s rights.

“When she was in Congress, Kathy showed she knows how to find common ground but also stand her ground for what’s right,” Clinton says in the robocall. “As our Lieutenant Governor, she’ll never, ever give up on New York’s families. She’s fought for women’s rights to make their own health care decisions, for equal pay, for equal work, to protect Medicare, and to provide affordable health care for millions of American families. Kathy will work hard every day to make sure our economy delivers for all New Yorkers. That is why we need Kathy Hochul as Lieutenant Governor.”

Cuomo faces Zephyr Teachout, a Fordham Law professor, in next week’s primary.

But while a head-to-head match up has not been polled, Wu is running an especially spirited challenge to Hochul, blasting her voting record in Congress for being too conservative for a broader Democratic electorate in New York.

Hochul has spent much of the last several weeks bolstering her support from the state’s Democratic establishment, labor leaders and office holders in her bid to claim the Democratic nomination from Wu.

The call follows a TV ad from Cuomo’s re-election campaign that focused heavily on Hochul’s endorsements from state Democrats, including former President Bill Clinton.

Clinton, as well as Cuomo, represent a more moderate wing of the Democratic Party. But the robocall isn’t necessarily aimed at disaffected Democrats, but casual primary voters to get them out to the polls.

Cuomo himself, of course, has strong ties to both Clintons and is largely expected to not run for president in 2016 should Hillary Clinton launch a White House bid.

Here’s the full script:

“Hi, this is Hillary Clinton, and I’m calling to urge you to vote for Andrew Cuomo for Governor and his running mate, Kathy Hochul, for Lieutenant Governor in Tuesday’s Democratic primary. As a New Yorker, I’d be proud to have Kathy fighting for our state. When she was in Congress, Kathy showed she knows how to find common ground but also stand her ground for what’s right. As our Lieutenant Governor, she’ll never, ever give up on New York’s families. She’s fought for women’s rights to make their own health care decisions, for equal pay, for equal work, to protect Medicare, and to provide affordable health care for millions of American families. Kathy will work hard every day to make sure our economy delivers for all New Yorkers. That is why we need Kathy Hochul as Lieutenant Governor. Please join me on Tuesday, September 9th to vote for Andrew Cuomo and Kathy Hochul in the Democratic Primary. Again, this is Hillary Clinton reminding you to vote on Tuesday. Thank you.
