Gov. Andrew Cuomo, Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul, top aides and members of his cabinet are absconding on a boat trip down the Hudson River this morning.

The trip, which originated in Hudson, will end in New York City. Included on the venture is Secretary Bill Mulrow, Director of State Operations Jim Malatras, Counsel Alphonso David, chief of staff and special advisor Melissa DeRosa and Budget Director Robert Mujica.

Cabinet members included on the trip include Transportation Commissioner Matt Driscoll and Health Commissioner Howard Zucker.

The trip will include a cabinet meeting, a discussion of next year’s agenda in the State of the State as well as an inspection of infrastructure projects along the river, such as the Tappan Zee Bridge replacement.

The trip itself is being paid for by Cuomo’s re-election campaign.
