Gov. Andrew Cuomo is back to what has been, for him, a traditional format for the State of the State.

Cuomo’s office announced Wednesday he will hold the State of the State address on Jan. 3 at the convention center of the Empire State Plaza complex.

Last year, Cuomo eschewed that, opting instead to hold multiple events around the state that focused on different regions and topics.

Cuomo hadn’t been too keen on the tradition of holding the address in what had been its traditional venue, the state Assembly chamber.

Limited tickets for the speech are available here.
