Rep. John Faso on Tuesday endorsed Republican U.S. Senate hopeful Chele Farley, the latest GOP lawmaker to endorse her bid against incumbent Democrat Kirsten Gillibrand.

“Chele Farley is an effective leader and proven problem-solver,” Faso said. “She has a record of results and is entirely focused on the families of New York state, while Sen. Gillibrand’s has turned her attention toward her run for president. I am confident Chele can deliver for Hudson Valley and Catskills families and small businesses with the same tenacity that propelled her through a successful business career spanning more than 25 years.”

Farley was previously endorsed by Reps. Peter King and Elise Stefanik, as well as former Gov. Geroge Pataki.

“I am grateful for Congressman Faso’s support in this critical race to confront and fix the challenges of our state,” Farley said. “Congressman Faso understands the difference between talk and action, and his record of reform and values helped inspire my own run for U.S. Senate. I look forward to delivering for the Hudson Valley and Catskills after our campaign defeats do-nothing Senator Kirsten Gillibrand this November. The time for change is now.”
