Gov. Andrew Cuomo and Lt. Gov. Kathy Hochul appear together in a joint ad touting the administration’s impact on the Capital Region.

The ad appears to be part of a broader approach the campaign is taking toward highlight accomplishments for various regions of the state.

“Governor Cuomo and Upstate native Lieutenant Governor Hochul are moving the Capital Region forward,” the ad says. “Transforming Albany International Airport, rebuilding the Schenectady Train Station, revitalizing Downtown Albany, and inspiring our next generation.”

No mention is made in the ad of the state’s investment in SUNY Polytechnic, whose former president, Alain Kaloyeros, was found guilty in a bid rigging case earlier this year.

Cuomo and Hochul face Cynthia Nixon and Jumaane Williams in the Sept. 13 primary next Thursday.
