Wednesday, we told you about Governor Cuomo’s new plan to provide property tax relief to homeowners statewide. If included in the final, approved budget, the system would give homeowners a credit if their property taxes exceeded 6-percent of their household income. That credit would operate on a sliding scale, and only households with an income less than $250,000 annually would be eligible. Peter Baynes, Executive Director of the New York State Conference of Mayors, joined us to talk more about the proposal.
